UNBRICK DSL-2750U PART 3

Continued from part 2

Eight: Click Open at PUTTY (blank screen will appear), and switch on the router then see if you can get any information from putty just like this: PhotobucketSwitch off router and get ready for tricky part..
Note: if you cant see anything, just change RX and TX wire in step three at part 1 then restart this process..

Nine: Switch ON the router and hitting ctrl+C quickly until you see this CFE screen: Photobucket
if cant get to there, just keep trying..

Ten: When you can get int CFE screen, Type: e nvram and hit enter then hit y (make sure CAPSLOCK OFF). Photobucket
Ten: Go to IE and type 192.168.1.1 in address bar and you should see this page: Photobucket
Update your firmware with this version EN1.01 (more stable than TH1.01) Or just switch OFF your router and switch ON back to use default firMware GE1.00..

Continued from part 1

Five: Open device manager, and right click at prolific serial usb (please remember it com port) then pick properties and fill it just like picture below..

 Six: Download PUTTY (in here) and open it then go to to the serial (left side) and fill it just like this: Photobucket ok now click session (left side) then fill it just like this: PhotobucketRemember, dont click OPEN yet!


Seven: Go to Open Network And Sharing Center, change adapter setting (left side), right click at LOCAL AREA CONNECTION and pick properties, double click at INTERNET PROTOCOL VERSION 4 and fill it just like this: Photobucket

UNBRICK MY LINK 2750U AFTER A BAD FIRMWARE FLASH

Hi, last week my router (DSL-2750U) bricked because i had downgrade that router from TH1.01 to SE1.00.. So today i gonna show you all how to unbrick your dlink dsl-2750u if you have made a same mistake with me..

First and most important part,make sure your router BRICKED..
Below is the picture of my bricked router: (power LED dimmer than usual)

Two: Made a simple SERIAL CABLE from NOKIA DKU5 or CA42 cable like this: Photobucket
*remember, we only need 3 wire.. GND, RX and TX..

Three: Connect all 3 wire that we made from above picture to the router just like this: Photobucket

Four: Install Prolific driver <in here> then Connect rj45 cable to the LAN port and computer,switch on plug then connect Power cable to the router (switch off the switch at router) and connect your DIY SEIAL CABLE to the computer..
